The landscape of the Franklin/Cool Springs area is constantly changing, but it's about to change dramatically around the corner of McEwen Drive and Carothers Parkway. Acres of treed land is being turned into exciting new developments that will attract businesses all over the world.

According to Livability.com, this growth is happening because Williamson County offers "a strategic central location, a highly educated workforce, great business incentives and excellent quality of life. [It] has a proven track record of attracting regional, national and international corporate headquarters and major manufacturers. Approximately 24 percent of the fastest-growing companies in Tennessee have been based in Williamson County during the past three years. More than half of the Nashville region's largest publicly traded companies call Williamson County home."

Here is a small peek at what's coming to Franklin:

The magazine states Franklin has universal qualities such as affordability, availability of a talented labor pool, existence of a thriving business community and quality of life. Business Week chose one small city in every state based on 11 factors that shape a city's entrepreneurial climate, from education level of the workforce to the amount of venture-capital investment to the number of startups."
