Spring 2015 Events in Williamson County

You can always tell when there's a change in the air in Williamson County, Tennessee, because people come out of the woodwork to be outdoors. We are fortunate to have such an extensive park system to explore, but spring is also a great time for fun events for young, old, and everyone in between.


Williamson County Parks & Recreation Annual Easter Egg Hunts
Franklin Recreation Complex and Fairview Recreation Complex
March 28th @ 10:00 a.m.
FREE for kids 10 and under
50,000 Eggs will cover the soccer fields and there will be pictures with the Easter Bunny.

Bunny Hop
Longview Recreation Center in Spring Hill
March 28th @ 5:30-8:00 p.m.
This event for the whole family will have visits with the Easter Bunny, food, and games.

Easter Bunny Excursion Train
Tennessee Central Railway Museum
March 28th and April 4th @ 8:30 a.m.
Tickets can be purchased online.
Ride with the Easter Bunny to Watertown, Tenn., to participate in egg hunts.

City of Brentwood Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Brentwood Library
April 2nd @ 4:00 p.m.
This popular egg hunt includes activities and pictures with the Easter Bunny.

Easter Celebration
Lucky Ladd Farms
April 3rd & 4th @  11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Enjoy the many activities Lucky Ladd has to offer plus the Easter Bunny, egg hunts, prizes and games.

Easter Eggs-stravaganza Featuring "Hop"
Franklin Theatre in downtown Franklin
April 4th @ 10 a.m.
Come watch the movie "Hop," but hurry down before it starts for the Easter Bunny, a bunny petting zoo, and lucky egg prizes.

Hot Air Balloon Egg Drop
Gratitude Ranch in Franklin
April 5th @ 3-6 p.m.
Come out to the Gratitude Ranch for the Easter Bunny, hot air balloon egg drop, animals, pony rides, and food trucks. All proceeds go to help S.A.F.E. foster families.



WillPower 5K
The Square in Downtown Franklin
April 11th @ 7:30 a.m.
Come out and run or walk for a good cause!

Spring Market
Franklin High School
April 11th @ 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
This one-day shopping event includes tons of vendors and a lot of great unique gifts.

Main Street Festival
The Square in Downtown Franklin
April 25-26th   Sat. 10-10 and Sun. 11-6
This popular annual event includes craft vendors, entertainment, a food court, and a kids' area.

Eat the Street
Bicentennial Park in Franklin
May 8th @ 5-9 p.m.
Food Trucks line the street as people eat, mingle, and listen to music at this new favorite event.

Franklin Rodeo
Ag Expo Park
May 14-16th @ 7 p.m. daily
This rodeo is one of the largest east of the Mississippi and it's been going in Franklin since 1949. The Rodeo parade will be in downtown Franklin on May 9th, and a free rodeo experience with a lot of activities will take place on May 13th.

Battle Scarred
Carnton Plantation
Now through April 26th  Mon.-Sat. 9-5 Sun. 12-5
This special Exhibition to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the Battle of Franklin includes over 100 artifacts on display.
