Franklin Christmas Parade
Saturday, Dec. 5 th, 2 p.m.
Come out to line the streets around downtown Franklin for the Christmas parade. Bring your own chair and your own bucket for collecting candy. Santa will read a story at the Visitors Center before the parade starts. For more information about the route, visit here.

Each year on the second Saturday of December, Brentwood neighborhoods "light up" for a special night of Brentwood Luminaries. Citizens join together and line their neighborhood streets with candles in paper bags to create a beautiful glow for those driving through viewing Christmas lights and decorations.
Some participating subdivisions planning to decorate with lights and luminaries include: Woodway, Heathrow Hills, Brentwood Country Club, Lansdowne, Brentmeade, Foxboro, Chenoweth, Liberty Downs, Raintree Forest, Green Hills Boulevard, McGavock Farms, Belle Rive and Carondelet.â€¨
31st Annual Dickens of a Christmasâ€¨
Saturday, Dec. 12 th, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.â€¨
Sunday, Dec. 13 th, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.â€¨
Downtown Franklin transforms into a Dickens-era Christmas festival, complete with elaborately dressed characters, horse-drawn carriages, a craft bazaar, music, and delicious food. Shops and restaurants will also be open along the 15 blocks for those who are out to see the sights in this FREE event. For more information, visit here.
Leiper's Fork Christmas Paradeâ€¨

Head to historic Leiper's Fork for a unique Christmas parade experience. This year's Grand Marshall will be Naomi Judd, and the route is from Southall Road through the heart of town on Hillsboro Road. For more information, visit here.

Homes for the Holidays Candlelight Tour
Dec. 12th-13th, 5:00 p.m to 8:30 p.m.
Travel back in time with this unique tour of homes in Franklin that gives a look at history through beautiful displays of Christmas dÃ©cor. Some stops will include guides in period costumes and festive snacks. For tickets and a complete list of stops on the tour, visit here.

Sunday, Dec. 13th, 1 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Every year, hundreds of volunteers dress in character and transform their church grounds into "the village and outskirts of what Bethlehem may have been like on a smaller scale on the night of the birth of Jesus."
